Dear Friends in Christ,

Welcome to Sacred Heart Parish! It is our hope that this website will help you know more about the many ministries and activities of Sacred Heart, and of the many people that come together to make this parish a dynamic community of faith.

Sacred Heart Parish began in 1881 with only a handful of parishioners. Today we have a community of over 2300 households with 8300 individual members. Although we are a large parish, we strive to create a welcoming, hospitable environment. I am very confident that the great things that God has begun in our homes and in our parish family through past generations of faithful Catholics will continue to bear abundant fruit. God has blessed each and every one of us through His generosity and now it is our turn to imitate that generosity by sharing ourselves with Sacred Heart Parish, the community of Norfolk, the Archdiocese of Omaha, and the Universal Church.
