Help Our Parish Excel
The Scrip Program of Sacred Heart/St. Mary's Parish
New Feature: H.O.P.E. Rebate Program
HOPE has added a new feature to the program A rebate of 1% can be earned by purchasing HOPE. HOPE will offer this rebate from June 1st through May 31st. In June you will receive a letter stating your earned rebate amount and where you can apply it to one of the following options:
• To your students’ tuition or a designated student/family tuition for Norfolk Catholic Schools or Youth Religious Formation for the upcoming school year.
The profits from the HOPE Program go to the General Fund of the Parish. Everyone in our Parish family benefits in one way or another from the profit of the scrip program. This scrip program helps pay for the operating expenses of the Parish, the high school and grade school, and the Religious Formation Department, which provides Catholic education to public school youth and those entering the Church as adults.
There is no additional cost to you. The businesses participating in this program donate a percentage of the purchases you make through the H.O.P.E. program to the Parish.
Check out the many businesses that support this program. If you notice a few businesses that are family favorites, stop by the tables and see how you can support the Parish by just doing your regular shopping.
It is so easy. The only thing you have to do is buy yourself gift certificates to your favorite businesses in the program. Then use these gift certificates to pay for your purchases instead of writing a check or using cash. Or, you can give them to family and friends for gifts.
The H.O.P.E. cards and certificates are available immediately at the Parish Office, at tables after the weekend Masses, and Other Locations around Norfolk. You may also send in an order on line. The Order Forms for all our participating businesses are available here on our web site. Volunteers are the key to the success of this program. They are needed after the weekend Masses and for other Parish events. For more information be sure to contact Beth Gentrup.
